Happy Easter everyone! It was such a beautiful day! The kids had a great time looking for their eggs and baskets in the morning. And we had a chance to get some great Easter pictures outside in the morning sunshine! We had a wonderful Easter service at church celebrating Jesus’ resurrection! Hope everyone had a blessed Easter weekend!

Big Day Today!

Not only was it crazy hair day today as part of school spirit week, but Dylan tested for his first belt in Karate!! We have been really impressed with how quickly he has picked up karate and super proud for how well he did today during his testing. Dylan was equally if not more proud of himself and couldn’t wipe the smile off his face after his instructor tied his belt on him!

Dylan lost his first tooth!! It has been super exciting the past couple of weeks waiting for it to come out! Dylan was one of the last of his friends to lose a tooth, so he has been REALLY anxious. He came home Friday from school and his tooth was hanging on by a thread, so I told him either he was pulling it out or I was! I got the honor and here are the resulting pictures! We went to the science fair at school that night and then came home to safely tuck the tooth away in his tooth pillow! The tooth fairy brought him $5!! I guess you get extra for the first tooth!

Mustache here, mustache there

These pictures have been cracking me up! Dylan got some mustaches at school for participating in a fundraiser.  Each time we tried on a mustache the kids turned into an alter ego!  Dylan already thinks his peach fuzz is a real mustache, so this just added fuel.  It definitely made him look older!  Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!  Haha!!

Dylan’s Birthday Weekend

Taylor is Back to School!

Our sweet little girl started her first day of preschool today! She was super excited! She got a little nervous once we got to school, but spotted a friend from last year and quickly settled in! Hard to believe she is one year away from riding the bus with Dylan. She will be sure to have her big brother and protector with her every step of the way next year!
